Our Story
Triumph Design Build is a design build construction company based in the Chicagoland Area. Founded in 1987 by Russell Scurto, the company was established with a vision to create a construction firm that combined land development, design and construction services into a single, seamless process.
In its early years, Triumph Design Build started as a developer by purchasing infill pieces of property and erecting small speculative buildings. These buildings ranged from 25,000 to 100,000 square feet. Triumph also served as a financier for many small manufacturers utilizing a method where Triumph leased the building back to the client at a price that would allow them to purchase the building in two to five years. This led to Triumph gaining the best tenants, trustworthy partners, and a loyal client base.
During the last global recession, Triumph decided to solely focus on general contracting. The transition from a developer and financer to a general contractor has furthered Triumph’s stellar reputation for quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service.
Russell’s vision was always treat people fairly, with loyalty being key. He strongly believed in helping the client in all ways possible starting on day one. Russell’s handshake with the client ensured the deal was done, and the project would be completed properly. During its 36 years of dedication, precision, and quality, Triumph Design Build has established itself as a leading construction company that clients can depend on.
Today, Triumph Design Build, under new leadership, will continue Russell’s vision to remain one of the most respected construction firms in the Chicagoland Area, with a team of experienced professionals and a portfolio of diverse projects. The company continues to prioritize integrity, dedication, excellence and customer service. Triumph’s goal and vision are to expand geographically and into new vertical markets by delivering exceptional results for every client.
